Overview
I use a per-word pricing model based on the original word count in Microsoft Word. For returning clients, I maintain consistent pricing for books of similar length. The fee only changes if the word count varies significantly between projects.
Pricing Options
Copy Editing + Proofreading — $0.016/word
Two separate reviews: the first focuses on copy editing, and the second on proofreading.
Copy Editing Only — $0.013/word
One full review concentrating on copy editing.
Backlist Editing — $0.012/word
One full review concentrating on proofreading.
Proofreading Only — $0.011/word
One full review concentrating on proofreading.
Payment Methods
Invoices are generated through PayPal and emailed to you directly.
Payment options include:
- Credit/debit cards
- PayPal account
- Other options available through PayPal
Software
I work in Microsoft Word using the Track Changes function. This lets you review each suggested edit individually or accept all changes with a single click.
