Copy Editing

Copy editing ensures your book reads smoothly and consistently. It helps refine your work while maintaining your voice and style. Some of the areas I focus on include:

  • Internal logic
  • Consistent style (spelling, capitalization, hyphens, dashes, etc.)
  • Identifying continuity issues, repetition, and awkward phrasing
  • Flagging conflicting details
  • Noting unexplained elements

A good copy editor enhances clarity and consistency without altering your unique voice. My goal is to provide suggestions—you decide what changes to make.

Note: Copy editing does not include plot structure or character development, which should be finalized beforehand.
